How FacultyWorks uses cookies and similar browser technologies, and how you can control them.

The short version
We use essential browser storage to remember your theme and privacy choices. With your permission, we also use Vercel Web Analytics and PostHog to understand how people use the website and improve it.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or session recording. Analytics remains off unless you select Accept analytics.

Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files that a website can ask a browser to store. Local storage and session storage are similar browser technologies. Because privacy rules can apply to all of them, this policy describes every type the site currently uses, not only traditional cookies.

When analytics is accepted, we measure page views, source and campaign information, calls-to-action, and contact-form stages such as viewed, started, validation failed, submitted or technical failure. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names or free-text form answers to analytics.
PostHog autocapture and session recording are disabled. We also configure it to respect the browser's Do Not Track setting.

How to manage your choice
Select Accept analytics or Reject analytics in the privacy notice. You can reopen the notice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer; a new choice takes effect immediately. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics does not affect access to the website.
You can also clear or block browser storage using your browser settings. If you clear essential storage, the site will forget your theme and privacy choices and ask again.

Third-party content
The current website does not embed third-party video players, maps, social buttons or chat widgets. If that changes, this policy and the consent controls will be reviewed before the feature is introduced.

Changes to this policy
We update this policy when storage, analytics or providers change. If a change requires a new consent choice, the site will show the privacy notice again.
