Cookie policy

What this site keeps in your browser, what it does not, and how to change your answer at any time.

Last updated 30 August 2026

01

The short version

This site sets no cookies. Two small values sit in your browser's local storage — the canvas you chose, and your answer to the cookie notice. Neither is sent to us and neither can identify you.

Accept analytics and one more thing loads: a script that counts page views. Nothing loads before you say yes, and you can change your answer from the footer of any page.

02

Cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep and send back on every request. Local storage is similar, except it stays on your device — the browser never sends it anywhere on its own. Both fall under the same consent rules, which is why both are listed here.

What this site stores today

NameKindWhat it doesHow long
faculty-works-themeLocal storageRemembers whether you chose the light or dark canvas, so the page never flashes the wrong oneUntil you clear your browser data
faculty-works-consentLocal storageRemembers your answer to this notice, so we stop asking12 months

Both are strictly necessary in the sense the rules mean: without them the site forgets a choice you deliberately made. Neither is used for advertising.

05

Embedded content

This site embeds nothing from anyone else: no video players, no maps, no chat widget, no social buttons. If that changes, this page changes with it, and anything that sets a cookie sits behind the same gate.

06

How to change your answer

Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. The notice comes back and your new answer replaces the old one immediately.

You can also clear or block storage in the browser itself — every major browser offers this per site under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking everything is fine. The site still works; it will simply ask about the canvas and this notice again next visit.

07

Changes to this policy

New storage gets added to the tables above before it ships, and the date at the top moves. If we ever add a category that needs your consent, the notice comes back and asks.
